Regina grew up in a small town in East Texas. Where the dirt roads never end, and the Oak and Pine trees are tall, and you know everybody’s name. Growing up all she ever wanted was to be a wife and mother. She got her wish when God blesses her with the most wonderful little brown eyed girl. Cecily was an amazing little girl, she was just a joy to be around. Their life together was wonderful, filled with gymnastics, Girl Scouts, camping, band, cheerleading, horse riding, and family vacations. Church was and is very important, Cecily always loved learning the next bible lesson.
Being a mother is one of the most precious privileges God had bestowed upon Regina and she took that responsibility very serious. When the word cancer found its way into their lives they were all devastated. This is when God showed Regina just how strong she was going to have to be.
“I am hoping this book will find its way into the hands of many. I am hoping to keep Cecily’s memory alive through the works our ministry (CRG Ministry) will be doing to honor our sweet Cecily.”
CRG Ministry will do all the works Cecily wanted to do, including scholarships, coloring books and bed sheets for children’s hospitals, providing bibles, and helping families at Christmas time. Regina hopes to travel and tell Cecily’s story to bring people closer to God and awareness to brain cancer.
