I am a husband, father, author, but most of all, disciple of Christ. I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my personal Savior at the young age of 6 years old. Over the course of my life, I have experienced highs and lows just as any other believer. However, through it all, God has never given up on me.

In 1989 I went to college at Liberty University where I started as a ministry major. Due to experiences, both internal to me and external, I left college after two years. After returning home and beginning a career in retail management, I met my better half and soon married her. Almost 3 years after marrying Lindsey, God blessed us with our first, of ultimately 4, sons. I began moving through and advancing within my field – however never feeling completely fulfilled.

After having been away from school for nearly 15 years God opened an opportunity for me to go back to school. I graduated Liberty University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management. Standing on the field at graduation I recall telling my family how I felt God calling me to serve Him there, so we started praying, pursuing and continuing my Graduate education. After almost 4 years in this pursuit and wondering if it was ever going to happen, I received a call from Liberty University; after a few interviews, I was offered a position.

Now we would once again step out by faith, moving over 400 miles from our families and friends, and starting over. It was quite a challenge and struggle, both emotionally, physical, spiritually and financially. But God continued to provide. I graduated from Liberty with a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Leadership. Roughly 2 years into my tenure at Liberty University I began writing. The dream of writing had been placed on my heart years earlier but I never knew how that would occur or what it would look like. To be honest, I was always discouraged by the negativity on Facebook so I felt led to provide positive, God-driven content – which led me to begin writing devotionals. Over the last few years God has taught me much, in my own spiritual walk and in how to be an author.  I have several books currently in production and am speaking on how to be strong in Faith.
