Cindy Hall is a seasoned furniture executive and design consultant with nearly 35 years of experience, including 29 years at Hooker Furnishings and 4 1/2 years at Sherrill Furniture. A two-time recipient of the prestigious ISFD Pinnacle Award, Cindy visionary approach to furniture design and innovation has consistently set her apart. She was also honored as the 2023 Luxe Red Design Award Winner and a finalist for the With-It Mentoring WOW Award in 2021.
Cindy’s professional journey includes key leadership roles such as Vice President of Merchandising & Product Development at Sherrill Furniture, Creative Director at The Uttermost Co., and Vice President at Hooker Furnishings. Her work has helped transform countless homes into personalized, functional havens. Cindy had her own breakout capsule collection of one-of-a-kind items called Mélange, which surpassed $20 million in sales over seven years. This success was incredible and significantly changed the company’s trajectory. “Pillars of Excellence: 5 Core Principles Framework" which guides each project or personal endeavor to success. She enjoys bringing this to sales teams in conference settings, in workshop settings and in roundtable management meetings.
Hall provides professional consulting and is a certified coach also volunteers her time helping women get back on their feet from life-threatening situations so they can thrive in their careers. In addition, she loves to do art and play the piano for her church. Her furniture designs are featured worldwide, and she enjoys learning and applying all aspects of the furniture industry as that is a part of her unique value that she brings to a C-Suite Organization. From her comfortable demeanor to being able to interact with sales teams that lead with customers on the floor to those that are responsible for managing product development and marketing with KPI’s to sitting and having coffee with the CEO in a private coaching call Cindy is your basement to the boardroom expert.
Beyond her professional achievements, Cindy is guided in her faith and is dedicated to showing others the love of Jesus, believing He serves as the ultimate example of how we should treat others. She also draws inspiration from two of her role models – her Granny, Juanita Saul, and Clyde Hooker, Jr.
In her spare time, Cindy enjoys traveling and experiencing many different cultures with her husband of 31 years, Mike. Together, they have two sons, Nathan and Logan, and daughter- in-law, Alexis.
