As a Stage III Breast Cancer Survivor, Anna remembers her diagnosis and treatments as a time of feeling lost, intense anxiety and being terrified of all the uncertainty. Cancer changed her! By nurturing her spirituality, she grew stronger, was able her to express her emotions and gained inner strength to face life’s challenges. The cancer diagnosis has placed her on a journey that she could never have imagined. She is reminded daily, to reflect on her accomplishments, recognize the strides she has taken and celebrate the successes of life, no matter how small.
Her company, Silent Triumphs came to fruition because of Anna’s cancer diagnosis. Founding Silent Triumphs’ offered her the chance to empower and encourage others to strengthen and build their own hope while facing life’s challenges. Her first design, “Illuminate,” reminds the wearer, “Sometimes you have to reach outside your grasp to grow inward.”
